HOW TO GET KIM KARDASHIAN'S STICK-STRAIGHT, 2000S-GIRL HAIR Straight (heh) from the lips of the hairstylists behind the star's recent spate of flatironed lewks. Kim Kardashian, The Brand, is arguably going stronger ever before. And  Kim Kardashian , The Person, has worked to shape the latest iteration of her brand partly through her new aesthetic — both  on Instagram  and on the red carpet — which is strikingly pared down and minimalist, especially when compared to her more-is-more personal style of eras past. Along with her newfound style restraint (muted tones, slightly more modest silhouettes), Kardashian has also been cultivating a signature hairstyle that's similarly subdued: super-sleek, shiny, stick-straight hair. Yep, the kind you wore in the early aughts. But definitely chicer. (We'll credit the lack of stripe-y zebra highlights for helping to accomplish that.) What's more is that Kardashian, who has often been known to wear extensions and wigs, h...

Plus, behind-the-scenes wardrobe secrets from the Backstreet Boys, Ricky Martin and Britney Spears residencies in Vegas, baby, Vegas. Usually when one thinks of Las Vegas, aggressively supersize outposts of celebrity chef restaurants and packs of fratty bachelor (and novelty-penis-adorned bachelorette) parties come to mind. But Vegas is also home to some pretty excellent theater beyond the traditional Cirque du Soleil. Residencies are the glitzy city's new big thing, complete with three additional hot tickets:  Channing Tatum 's gift to humanity, "Magic Mike Live," the  best selling boy band  ever  Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life," and boy band graduate turned superstar " Ricky Martin : All In."  So come for the tunes, the stellar da...

STYLE SEE WHAT STARS LIKE RIHANNA, SOLANGE AND CHARLIZE THERON WORE TO DIOR'S WESTERN-INSPIRED CRUISE 2018 SHOW From fox fur cardigans to dark velvet. Dior 's Cruise 2018 show took place on a nature preserve in Calabasas this year, and the Western-inspired theme was manifested in everything from the flat dirt "runway" to the Georgia O'Keeffe-style hats worn by the models. Perhaps because of its proximity to Hollywood, the show was also very well-attended by A-list actors like  Charlize Theron  and  Brie Larson , who joined musical giants  Rihanna  and  Solange  and fashion heavyweights like  Miranda Kerr  and  Aimee Song  at the show. Regardless of what segment of culture they represented, the attendees showed up dripping in Dior. The color black was a popular choice across the board, and Dior's logo-emblazoned meant-to-be-seen underthings were spotted on a number of attendees from Solange to  Jhene Aiko ....

SHOPPING STREET-CAST COOL KIDS REPLACE HUNKY MODELS IN ABERCROMBIE & FITCH'S 'MADE FOR YOU' CAMPAIGN The result feels way more current than the logo hoodies you remember. Abercrombie & Fitch 's journey has been a fascinating one to follow in recent years. Like many teen retailers that were mall favorites in the mid-aughts, A&F has been hit hard by the current retail climate. But a rebrand that began with former  Karl Lagerfeld  designer Kristina Szasz's Fall 2015  debut  has seen the label making a serious aesthetic pivot.  Today, A&F released Part Two of its "Made for You" campaign. It builds upon the new direction seen in Part One by featuring street- and Instagram-cast teens and 20-somethings rather than the beefy, half-clothed models for which it used to be known. This time, the models were cast in Asheville, North Carolina and Boulder, Colorado, where the campaign was shot and styled to reflect their individu...

FASHION WEEK LOUIS VUITTON'S CRUISE 2018 COLLECTION MIGHT BE NICOLAS GHESQUIÈRE'S STRONGEST YET The French house's creative director collaborated with Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto Louis Vuitton may be new to the far-flung fashion show game, but it's certainly making up for lost time: The French house's Cruise 2018 collection, perhaps Nicolas Ghesquière's strongest work yet, was  presented in Japan  on Sunday. The brand took over the  I.M. Pei-designed  Miho Museum, situated an hour outside of Kyoto, for the runway presentation. Typical of Ghesquière's work at Louis Vuitton thus far, the collection features plenty of strong angles, layered prints and fabrics and covetable accessories. But the part of the collection bound to make the biggest impression are the pieces born from  Ghesquière's collaboration  with Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto. The sequined dresses and illustrated bags are sure to inspire wait-lists before the colle...

It's upfront season, a.k.a. the time of year when TV networks host events and throw parties in New York to convince advertisers to buy commercial airtime. It's also the time of year when all of your favorite TV stars come out to play — and dress to impress while keeping things relatively casual.  Alia Shawkat Tracee Ellis Ross in Ryan Rochee Daveeed Diggs  Tuesday's  ABC  upfront and Wednesday's  Turner  upfront both saw just that, with stars wearing their best eye-catching but not-too-formal looks. Bright colors were the name of the game for stars like  Tracee Ellis Ross , who wore  Ryan Roche  at ABC,  Dakota Fanning , who donned a hot-pink  Proenza Schouler  number at Turner to promote her upcoming show "The Alienist," and  Kerry Washin...
